Clarissa HorwoodFounderClarissa worked as an editor for Macmillan Education, writing and editing academic books. After her daughter was born, she wrote her first novel, which then prompted her to found an online writing platform where authors could feel encouraged and get feedback. Clarissa oversees the running of The Pen Factor and manages a great team of dedicated professionals. She is a senior writer and columnist for Tasmania 40 Degrees South Magazine. Jim HenningtonInvestorJim has a successful history of investing in startup companies and has provided the capital and business guidance needed to launch. On learning about The Pen Factor and its target audience he immediately saw the potential in providing the writing community with an encouraging and dignified channel for receving fast, independent feedback on their work, and to identify emerging writing talent. | ||||
Stef FosterHead of Marketing and PRStef is a Monash University Commerce Graduate with majors in accounting and marketing. In 2013 she moved to Tasmania to pursue her passions in music, writing and art while studying songwriting at the University of Tasmania. Stef heads up the marketing and public relations side of The Pen Factor, helping to spread the word to creative writing and reading communities across the world. | ||||
Andy TownsendWeb designer / developerAndy was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and studied computing at UTS, worked around Australia and overseas and now calls Hobart home. He's a web designer and developer and runs a small digital agency AT Design helping clients bring their projects to life. Andy heads up the IT side of the Pen Factor and re-designed and built the new look Pen Factor earlier in 2016. | ||||
Jonathan SoffeDesignerJonathan was born in Portsmouth and studied for a degree in graphic design at Portsmouth College of Art and Design. He now lives in Oxford with his wife and two children, Emily and Harry, and works as a designer for a global company in the healthcare sector. | ||||
Sharon MooreConsulting editorSharon is a writer and editor who lives on a farm in the far south of Tasmania. She is passionate about all things literary, runs the editing business In a Word Professional Editing, and is honoured to be the consulting editor for The Pen Factor. | ||||
